Kalavryta, known for its history, has the special preference of many – mainly Greek – tourists. The distance from Athens is only 190 kilometers, most of which are covered by National Roads. The junction for Kalavryta is located at kilometer 159 of the Athens-Patras highway. They are also connected by rail (22 kilometers from Diakofto) with the famous and unique Cogwheel Railway, which crosses (ascending) the famous Vouraikos Potamos Gorge: an attraction known throughout Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
